Club of business journalists of Serbia chose Toplica Spasojević for the most successful businessman in country

Today (January 29, 2007), at 1 PM, in the Solemn Hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the representatives of the Club of Business Journalists of Serbia will award certificates "Businessman of the Year" and "Manager of the Year", which already became traditional. It is dedicated to the selection and promotion of the most successful businessman and entrepreneurs in the country.

According to the decision of the expert jury of the Club of Business Journalists, certificate "Businessman of the Year" will this time be handed to the President of company ITM Toplica Spasojević, whose 800 employees made turnover worth 200m EUR.

As far as certificate "Manager of the Year" is concerned, 17 laureates will be announced today in the CHamber of Commerce of Serbia: Dušan Antonić from Agrobanka, Olivera Božić (Development Fund of REpublic of Serbia), Đuro Bocka ("Slovan" Selenča), Milenko Gačić ("Big Bull"), Dragoslav Ilić ("Planinka") and Milan Janković (Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade).

The same certificate will be given to Milan Jovičić ("Grafokard"), Jezdimir Kuč (Dairy Kuč), Miodrag Miljković ("Merkur"), Srećko Njemčević ("Ikarbus"), Rade Pribićević ("Knjaz Miloš"), Saša Trišić ("Mol group"), Milinko Cicmil ("Promont group"), Živko Cuckić ("Kosmet Coning") and Đuro Šujica ("Topiko").

Special certificate for successful cooperation between the art and the economy will be handed to fashion designer Nada Momirović and painter Olja Ivanjicka for fashion project "TESLA". The jury will today, for the first time, award one journalistic certificate - annual award for reports on economic trends - which will be given to Rodoljub Gerić, the journalist and editor in newspaper "Politika".

According to the announcements, the Minister of Economy, Predrag Bubalo, and the Minister of International EConomic Relations, Milan Parivodić, will speak to the laureates of these certificates and to the present people.
