Few thousands of new apartments and facilities to be connected to remote heating system in Belgrade in 2007

The Belgrade power plants announced series of investments planned for year 2007, so that it is likely that many boilers will disappear forever.

The expansion of heating pipelines on the territories of heating plants "Dunav", "Konjarnik" and "Voždovac" is in the pipeline.

The power plants will start construction of two large boilers, first of which, of 140 MW, will be installed in heating plant "Novi Beograd", while the other, of 116 MW, will be installed in heating plant "Voždovac". Putting of boiler of 23 MW into operation in heating plant "Borča" is also in the pipeline.

According to the plan, turning off of the individual boiler rooms in the city will be continued in the following period. The contracts have already been concluded on the turning off of the boiler rooms in hotels "Majestic", "Moskva" and "Balkan", as well as in the Textile, Music and Advanced Civil Engineering School.

Also, Clinical Hospital "Zvezdara" and the Tuberculosis Institute will be connected to the remote heating system.
