The tender documentation for Agricultural Combine "Bečej" has been purchased, according to the unofficial information, by the company of Miodrag Kostić, "MK Commerce", and Investment Fund "Ashmor".

"Delta" has also been mentioned as a possible buyer, but the Deputy President of this company, Milka Forcan, rejected that possibility at the end of year 2006.

The interest of Miodrag Kostić, the President of "MK Commerce" in this large combine with 16,500 ha is expected, because, next to Mišković and Predrag Matijević, he is already one of the three largest owners of cultivated fields in Vojvodina. British Investment Fund "Ashmore" has recently taken over meat industry "Carnex", so that the procurement of the Combine in Bečej would enable further expansion in field of agricultural production.

Only 40.9% of State-owned stocks are offered for sale because this company was privatized by the earlier law, but all companies that deal with agricultural production for at least 3 years and whose incomes in 2006 amounted to minimum of 50m EUR are free to apply on the tender.
