Rossignol coming to Smederevo? - Italian manufacturer of ski gear interested in starting production in Serbia

Dario Poloni, the production director at Rossignol's affiliate in Italy, headed a three-member delegation of that company that talked with Smederevo officials about the possibility of opening a production facility and starting production in that town, it was announced on the website of Smederevo.
Representatives of one of the most famous ski gear manufacturers expressed interest in moving part of its production to Serbia because they already have a similar production facility in Romania. Their factory in Smederevo would be producing insoles for ski boots and other ski equipment on an area of about 1,500 square meters and employ about fifty people for a start.

Italians also visited two secondary vocational schools in Smederevo to see where students are being trained for the jobs they would create.
