Sberbank grants EUR 600 million loan to Agrokor

Agrokor has managed to reach an agreement with Sberbank Russia and its subsidiary in Europe (Sberbank Europe) on a loan of EUR 600 million, several Agrokor subsidiaries whose shares are traded on the Zagreb Stock Exchange announced in a release on Monday (24 March 2014).

This loan is granted to Agrokor with a repayment period of maximum seven years from the agreement signing date, the web portal Seebiz.eu cites Agrokor subsidiaries as saying in their release.

As announced, the loan agreement was signed March 14.

Among the Agrokor subsidiaries that provide a guarantee for this loan are Ledo, Jamnica, Zvijezda and PIK Vinkovci.

People at Agrokor have not given any comment on the purpose of this loan, Seebiz adds.
