Construction of Dedinje 2 hospital to start this summer - Clinic in Belgrade co-designed by architects from USA

Construction of Dedinje 2 Cardiovascular Clinic in Belgrade should commence in July at the latest. This project will drastically reduce waiting lists for the most complex heart surgeries, the daily Blic reports.
Dedinje 2 should make it possible for more than 3,000 people awaiting various heart surgeries to be operated on before, for example, December 2019, when the last patient on the current waiting list is scheduled to undergo a cardiac catheterization.
- Dedinje 2 is a project that will cost between 25 and 30 million euro. The new hospital with up-to-date equipment will occupy 11,500 square meters and will be built in line with the highest international standards. The building is designed by CIP in cooperation with architects from the USA, who implemented American standards for hospital construction - Prof. Dr Bosko Djukanovic, the director of Dedinje Cardiovascular Clinic, said to Blic.
