eKapija rewards investment of the year in Serbia - 2014 Aurea Awards ceremony in Belgrade on March 26

The business web portal eKapija is going to present the investment of the year award Aurea 2014 for the sixth year in a row. The winner of this prestigious award will be announced at a ceremony at Belgrade-based Aeroklub on March 26.

Aside from the main award that will be presented to the project which best meets three criteria - innovation, social utility and financial potential, two special awards will be granted too - for the best innovation and the best social utility.

This year`s finalists for the Aurea Award are the following eight projects: Eko fungi – Production of edible mushrooms using cellulosic residues, Alwag – PET packaging recycling plant, Desing – Production of cherry-based fruit preparations, Kuerk – Making products from recycled tire, Republik Eco Hostel in Uzice, Henkel – New production facility for Bref cleaning products, HCP – Symphony POS sales terminal, and Elnos BL – Factory for producing compact prefabricated concrete SF6 substations Biosco CS.

The winner was decided by a five-member jury made up of the representatives of eminent organizations and business associations, renowned businessmen and leading domestic economists, while one vote came from the visitors of the web portal eKapija and aurea.rs.
