Fiat 500l powered by methane and liquefied petroleum gas to be launched April

Fiat automobili Srbija Marketing Manager Boris Cuckovic announced Saturday (22 March 2014) that orders for methane-powered Fiat 500l can be placed starting April.

- The methane-powered 500L model will be very interesting for all those driving many kilometers through city streets, such as taxi drivers - Cuckovic told Tanjug news agency.

He said that FAS was not going to make 500l powered by methane (CNG) in advance, but only by bigger orders that were expected from companies.

According to him, 500l will be equipped with a TwinAir 900ccm engine powered by methane.

Cuckovic also said that new cars would be delivered to buyers within 45 days of the order date.

He noted that FAS would also launch Fiat 500l Classic powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in early April.

As he explained, Fiat 500l is already deemed a good official vehicle by many businesses, rent-a-car companies in particular.
