Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Serbia to found a bank

The Administrative Board of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Serbia has made the decision on founding micro bank that would approve credits to craftsmen and the owners of small and mid-sized enterprises who settle their obligations toward the Fund on regular basis. This was announced by the Head of the Administrative Board of the Fund Rato Ninković.

Until the bank is formed, which is expected to take place in mid-February 2007, the micro-financing will be started through the commercial banks, most probably through Univerzal and AIK banka.
