Bulgaria's BulStone interested in investing EUR 1 million in stone factory in Arilje

Bulgarian company BulStone is interested in opening a stone factory in the vicinity of Arilje in which it would invest about EUR 1 million for a start, the officials of this company, who participate in the 6th International Stone Expo in Kragujevac, told Tanjug news agency.
The manager of the BulStone company from the Bulgarian town of Varna, Hristo Stoichev, confirmed to Tanjug that his company was interested in opening a stone factory in Serbia.
- BulStone is a Bulgarian company, and we would like to open a factory here in Serbia, in which about EUR 1 million would be invested for a start. I hope that the procedure will be finished soon - said Stoichev.
An agreement with the Bulgarian investor has been reached by the Mermer company from Arilje, whose founder and owner Ivan Milih says that the precise opening date for this factory has not been agreed yet as everything depends on the paperwork.
As he stressed, the main problem is to get permits to exploit the mines because that procedure takes two, three and five years to complete.
- This story is very serious and I expect the construction of a facility for processing our local stone to start this year - said Milic.
