SIEPA sets aside 10m EUR for new factory of nylon stockings in Bačka Palanka

Investment and Export Promotion Agency – SIEPA will allot non-refundable funds today (January 18, 2007) to Italian company "Kalcificio Reale" and domestic company "Figrad" in amount of about 10m EUR, which will enable construction of the factory of nylon stockings and underwear and creation of 400 new jobs in Municipality of Bačka Palanka.

The funds for that project have been provided from the National Investment Plan and the project carrier is Italian company "Kalcificio Reale" that, together with domestic company "Figrad", founded company "Setestele Bačka Palanka d.o.o." in 2006, with which it will build the aforementioned factory.

According to the announcements, the signing of the contract will take place in the presence of the Manager of SIEPA, Jasna Matić, the owner of company "Figrad", Zoran Kuzmanović, the Manager of company "Kalcificio Reale", Alesandra Munići, former Minister of Finance, Mlađan Dinkić, the Manager of Italian Foreign Trade Institute, Enriko Barbieri, and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Italy to Belgrade Tomas Bocios.
