"PTT Srbije" to have its main distrubutive center built on land of military complex in Zemun

- Company "PTT Srbije" has signed the contract with the Republic Directorate for PRoperty on use of building land in Ugrinovačka Street in Zemun, which used to be the property of the Army of Serbia - said the Manager of the PTT Directorate for Strategy, Development and Marketing Željko Ivanji.

The value of the contract for that military complex in Zemun is 342.8m RSD. "PTT Srbije" plans to have the Main Postal Center (MPC) for distribution of postal packages built on that location.

- The elaboration of the land-utilization - technical project is in progress. It will be followed by the announcement of the tender for construction of MPS - said Ivanji and expressed expectation that the tender would be announced prior to the end of March 2007 and that the construction would be finished by the end of year 2008.
