EPS Acting Managing Director Aleksandar Obradovic's term of office extended

The Serbian government has extended the term of office of Aleksandar Obradovic, the acting managing director of the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), it was announced in the new issue of the Official Gazette.

Obradovic's tenure as the EPS acting managing director ends March 10 with the new term starting March 11.

The appointment of the managing director of EPS for a full term has been awaited since July 2013, after which job applications for that position in aforementioned company were not accepted any more.

About 80 candidates applied for that job and the Government announced that the managing director would be appointed in September 2013, but that did not happen.
