Regular air service between Serbia and Switzerland enabled

The Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia and the competent body of the Swiss Confederation have reached an agreement in Bern to improve the terms for the operation of regular flights between the two countries.
A protocol on amendments and supplements to the Air Traffic Agreement from 2002 was initialed by Assistant Transportation Minister Milutin Popovic, who also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on that occasion.
The signing of these documents will allow for the operation of regular flights between the two countries without any limitations as to capacity, while both countries will have the right to make commercial arrangements such as codeshare.
This will open up new commercial opportunities for Air Serbia and Swiss carriers, the Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia said in a release.
