Reconstruction of Gazela Bridge in Pirot starts May - Tenders invited from potential contractors

Reconstruction of Gazela Bridge in Pirot, which connects the industrial quarters in this town with the international main route Nis-Pirot-Sofia, will commence in May and is to be finished in 60 days, Director of the Pirot Development Directorate Branislav Kostic told Tanjug news agency.

- Tests have shown that the bridge can be reconstructed. Today we announced a Request for Proposals from potential contractors, so that we expect the bridge reconstruction to start in May, after the whole selection process is done. By the way, the bridge will have to be closed to traffic for two months because of the reconstruction - said Kostic.

The architectural value of this reconstruction project is RSD 35 million, inclusive of VAT.
