Austrian economy to invest in Serbia in 2007

The Austrian economy plans important investments into Serbia in 2007 as well. Austria, after Russia, is one of Serbia's most important trade partners and the export from Serbia into that EU country, in the first nine months of the last year, reached amount of 150m EUR.

Austrian company "Mobilkom", which invested 32m EUR in 2006 into the license for new mobile telephony netwoek, was the greatest "greenfield" investor in Serbia.

Among the companies that plan expansion in Serbia are: the catering company "Kafe + Co Holding" and Kirhdorfer group. In addition, insurance company "Alliance" plans to buy DDOR.
