New chance for companies in Gornji Milanovac to export to Canada

Canadian Ambassador to Serbia Roman Waschuk visited the Gornji Milanovac municipality on Wednesday (26 February 2014), where he was introduced to the economic potential of the mining sector in Serbia and the business activities of companies Metalac and Rudnik and the namesake flotation plant for the purpose of possible export of their products to Canada.
Waschuk came to Gornji Milanovac to attend the presentation of the project "Mining: Promotion of Economic Management and Development for Democratic Transition" which is being implemented by the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) in cooperation with the consulting company Breakthrough and with the financial support of the Canada Fund.

The project is focused on the mining development policy and the harmonization of regulations governing that field with international practice.
