"Goša" expects at least 2m EUR worth of investments from new owner

There is a strong competition for privatization of the Factory of railway vehicles "Goša", the oldest and the only Serbian manufacturer of passenger railway cars. The potential buyers are from Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia. There are also some interested companies from the countries of the Middle East.

The estimated value of the property, which consists of 32,125 square meters of space and the equipment for production of railway vehicles (railway cars and streetcars), amounts to nearly 9m EUR. The starting price at the auction, schedulled for January 25, 2007, will be 1.8m EUR.

- The factory is in good condition and it is operable. The new owner will be obliged to invest minimum of 2m EUR. We expect that these funds will solve the biggest problems - Jovica Stefanović, the Manager, announced.
