ComTrade opens Software Development Center in Kragujevac - Jobs for 200 young experts

Belgrade-based IT company ComTrade opened Wednesday in Kragujevac the Software Development Center employing 200 young IT experts who specialize in software programming.
The company's plan is to double the number of employees at the SDC by June.
Opening the Software Development Center, Serbian outgoing First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic pointed out that ComTrade was paying EUR 5 million in taxes to the state annually on a regular basis.
- The information technology (IT) sector is one of the key industries in Serbia along with the automotive industry and agriculture. We are going to invest both money and knowledge in the IT sector, and it is very important that these companies closely cooperate with our schools and faculties - said Vucic.
He added that the state would continue to invest in the IT sector and the education of young people in spite of having a modest budget.
All engineers working at ComTrade's Software Development Center are from Kragujevac and its surroundings and were educated in that region.
ComTrade's owner Veselin Jevrosimovic said that the SDC in Kragujevac would work on highly sophisticated and complicated software solutions for large multinationals.
