More than 30 companies want to build Prokop - Deadline to submit bids extended until February 28

The deadline to submit bids for the first phase of reconstruction of traffic facilities at the railway station Beograd Centar in Prokop has been extended until February 28 due to a very large number of interested companies, Serbian Railways CEO Dragoljub Simonovic told Tanjug news agency today.

- A pre-tender meeting of prospective participants in the project was attended by more than 30 local and foreign companies which expressed great interest in partaking in the construction of Prokop - Simonovic said and added that the main bid evaluation criterion would be the price.

This project will be financed with the proceeds of a EUR 26 million loan extended by the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development. Serbian Railways invited tenders on January 15th.
