Stock value of Agrobanka exceeded 210m EUR

Belgrade-based Agrobanka announced that the stock value of that bank "exceeded 210m EUR".

The value of single stock of Agrobanka at the Belgrade Stock Exchange ranges between 39,000 and 40,000 RSD (about 1,278 EUR), says the Head of the Executive Board Dušan Antonić. He pointed out that Agrobanka had increased the value of the stock capital in 2006 for additional 55m EUR and he said that the total profit of the bank at the beginning of December 2006 had amounted to about 250m RSD.

The first man of Agrobanka said that the management of that bank "had a meeting with the representatives of the Moscow Bank" (which obtained the permit from the National Bank of Serbia to buy more than 25% of stocks of Agrobanka), but he pointed out that the talks had been led with the other banks, but he did not want to reveal with which ones.
