Association for Chinese investments to open in Belgrade by April


CSEBA (Chinese Southeast European Business Association), an organization whose aim is to attract Chinese investment to the region, will be officially opened in Zagreb next Tuesday.
After Zagreb, a CSEBA office will also be opened in Belgrade in late March or early April. CSEBA founders plan to utilize the already good relations between Serbian and Chinese businessmen that have resulted in numerous implemented projects.
The aim of the association is to use Chinese investments, which are announced as part of the five-year plan of the People's Republic of China for economic development in the years to come, to finance mutually profitable and valuable projects in the countries of the region.
The CSEBA central office will be opened February 18 in Zagreb in the presence of Chinese Ambassador Deng Ying, high officials of the Republic of Croatia, and diplomatic representatives.
CSEBA plans to open 24 offices in the following countries: PR China, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, as well as in Russia.
