Air Serbia signs codeshare agreement with Adria Airways

Serbia's flag carrier Air Serbia announced Wednesday that it had signed a codeshare agreement with Slovenia's Adria Airways which would give Air Serbia exclusive rights to operate flights between Belgrade and Ljubljana.

According to the agreement that will enter into force on February 17, Air Serbia will be the operating carrier and Adria Airways will be the marketing carrier.

The flights between Belgrade and Ljubljana will be operated using the ATR72 aircraft.

Air Serbia General Manager Dane Kondic voiced his expectation that that cooperation would improve the already good relations between the two airlines, adding that he believed it should also benefit the economies of Serbia and Slovenia.

Air Serbia started operating daily flights to Ljubljana on December 10, 2013.
