Chinese businessmen interested in "greenfield" investments and "joint venture" arrangements in Serbia

Multimember Chinese business delegation and the representatives of four companies from Chinese regions of Huan Jan and Guang Čua spoke with the chiefs of Belgrade about the opportunities for direct investments into the capital.

Beside the idea to invest the money in our companies, they also offered to export their products to Serbia.

Je Janming, General Manager of the International Chamber of Commerce of China, says that he is satisfied with the talks and that he expects that Chinese companies will invest money in Serbia in mid-2007.

- Our plan is to invest in the production of plastic, building materials and engines. Also, we are interested in investments in the joint ventures in Serbia, as well as in the opening of our own companies in Serbia - Janming added.
