Novi Sad-based footwear maker Gepard plans to produce 150,000 pairs of shoes this year, 30,000 pairs more than last year. The owner and director of this factory, Aleksandar Tanaskovic, says that Gepard has already entered into some deals that will keep it busy over the next half a year, adding that they also expect to have enough work to do in the second half of 2014.

He explains that this year's production plan will be met in that way.

This company was established in 1992, and it has been increasing its volume of production every year ever since. Last year it generated a gross revenue of EUR 3.5 million. This result makes Gepard one of the most successful companies in Novi Sad and beyond.

- Our footwear goes to Falco from Italy, Memphisto from France, and Intermedium from Germany. We've been making boots for the Army of Germany for several years now, and we also recently started making them for the Austrian army - says Tanaskovic.
