Interest in building Alpine's Corridor X stretch expressed by 25 companies


A total of 25 local and foreign companies have expressed interest in resuming the construction of the Corridor X stretch from Pirot to Dimitrovgrad that had been entrusted to Austria's Alpine which went bankrupt in the meantime, people at Koridori Srbije told Tanjug news agency on Wednesday.
All interested companies can submit their bids by February 13, when the deadline that has already been extended twice expires. Original deadlines were January 9 and January 30.
Tenders received by February 13 will be opened the same day on the premises of Koridori Srbije in Belgrade.
This project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
All bids must be enclosed with a bid bond of EUR 600,000.
