Shanker Singham, the president of Babson Global that is part of the namesake university in Boston, and Danijela Sremac, the president of the Serbian Institute from Washington, will be staying in Belgrade between February 17 and 21 to talk with the members of the Serbian government about Serbia's economic development.

The topic of conversation between these distinguished guests and the officials of the Serbian government will be an economic project dubbed "Entrerprise City" which should help Serbia's economic development, promote our country's reputation around the world and improve its relations with the USA, the Serbian Institute said in a release.

The "Enterprise City" project should represent a new concept of special economic zone (modeled after those in Hong Kong or Dubai).

After being approved by the Serbian government, this concept would function as a special entity with new rules, and its aim would be to promote free development, market and economic competition to the greatest extent possible.

This would also enable cooperation between Serbia and one of America's best and most famous business schools - Babson College from Boston.

Besides, it would pave the way for the establishment of a branch of this famous faculty in the Balkans, it is said in the release issued by the Serbian Institute which was established by the members of Serbian diaspora in the USA.
