The Banat main road, from Subotica to Kovin, to be built in 2008

The project for construction of the Banat main road (210 km), from Subotica, through Kikinda, Zrenjanin, Kovin and the bridge across the Danube, will be implemented in phases at the beginning of year 2008 - the Manager of Public Company "Putevi Srbije", Branko Jocić, announced.

The project documentation implies construction of unbuilt sections of main road M-24, from Subotica to Senta, so that the Banat main road could be connected with highway E-75.

The value of this investment is over 350m EUR and it will be completely financed from the domestic sources. This road will be in the category of express roads.
