New draft labor law by May 1st

Serbian Minister of Foreign and Domestic Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic stated that the draft of amendments to the Labor Law would be completed by May 1st, adding that it was expected to be adopted by June 30th.
The new working group that is going to prepare amendments to the Labor Law will meet on Monday, Ljajic said after a meeting with the representatives of two representative trade unions and the Union of Employers.
This meeting was attended by Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia Ljibisav Orbovic, President of the Trade Union Confederation "Nezavisnost" Branislav Canak, and President of the Union of Employers of Serbia Nebojsa Atanackovic.
Representatives of trade unions and the Union of Employers of Serbia stressed they hoped novelties in the Labor Law would benefit both workers and employers.
