Three investors interested in Univerzal banka recapitalization?

The recapitalization of Univerzal banka is interesting to a large number of prospective investors.

Negotiations are currently conducted with three serious partners: one from Serbia, one from the diaspora, whereas the third is one of the Arab funds that plan to merge with one of the local banks, Chairman of the Univerzal banka Executive Board Dragan Tomic told the daily Novosti, adding that final decision on recapitalization would be made at a regular general meeting by the end of April.

Tomic also commented on the recent unsuccessful attempt to recapitalize the bank saying that the Atlas group would recapitalize Univerzal banka if it really wanted to. He concluded that about EUR 20 million were required to recapitalize the bank, adding that that should not be a problem.
