Kooperative interested in growing fruits on 50 hectares in Krusevac

Belgrade-based fruit processing company Kooperativa is interested in growing fruits on over 50 hectares in the Krusevac area, Krusevac Mayor Bratislav Gasic told the press.

According to him, this company has so far been purchasing large quantities of plums from the Rasina Region, and now it plans to build its own orchards there as well as cold storage plants and dryers for fruits.

- We've offered them an area around the Oil Factory in Kosevi primarily because of the infrastructure and the vicinity of the main route, but we also sent them a list of all other available locations - said Gasic.
