Istrabenz Turizem takes over management of Toplice Sveti Martin in Croatia

Portoroz-based Istrabenz Turizem took over the management of the Toplice Sveti Martin thermal resort in Croatia early this year.

Managing hotels in Croatia is nothing new for this Slovenian company considering that it has been running its Grand hotel Adriatic in Opatija for many years now.

- This is a plus for the Slovenian hotel business as it proves that we can compete with foreigh hotel management companies in the field of hotel and hotel resort management - said Marino Antolovic, the chief executive officer of Istrabenz Turizme.

Istrabenz Turizme did not want to reveal the name of the Austrian bank which had an important influence on the appointment of new resort manager. This bank secured sources of finance for that investment which was implemented in 2009.
