EU grants EUR 4.5 million for municipal projects - Exchange 4 contracts to be signed January 29

The delegation of the European Union to Serbia will sign contracts on January 29 at Crowne Plaza Hotel with 32 cities and municipalities whose projects are chosen for funding under the Exchange 4 program financed by the European Union and implemented by the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM), STCM said in a release.

The approved projects will be implemented in the following fields - waste management, property management, improvement of agricultural cooperation, and social care services for the elderly.

Agreements on cooperation between STCM and 31 cities and municipalities that have received expert assistance in strategic planning and finance management will also be signed on that occasion.

The opening speech will be delivered by Igor Mirovic, the minister of regional development and local self-government, Branko Ruzic, the minister without portfolio in charge of European integration, Michael Davenport, the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, and Prof. Dr. Zoran Perisic, the president of STCM and the mayor of Nis.
