Fresenius Medical Care to open new factory in Vrsac in mid-November - Jobs for 460 workers

Construction of Fresenius Medical Care's new factory in Vrsac-based Technology Park goes as planned, meaning that it will be put into operation in mid-November, the company announced in a release.
Fresenius plans to implement new projects and make new investments in the factory as well as to hire additional 30 workers, the release reads.

Once the new factory is completed, the company will have a total of 830 employees in Serbia. According to its long-term plans, the number of workers should reach 1,150 in the future.

Over EUR 16 million has been invested in the new factory that will cover an area of 15,000 square meters.

- With the new factory, FMC wants to double its production capacity for certain products as well as exports. After the new factory is put into operation, we foresee annual exports of between 50 and 60 million euros - said FMC Production Director Vojislav Bugarski.
