Construction giant from Emirates arrives in Serbia - Arbatec announces opening of regional center in Belgrade

Construction company Arabtec Holding from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates announced its intention on Wednesday to open regional headquarters in Serbia so it could expand its business to the Balkans.
According to the website Arabian Business (www.arabianbusiness.com), regional headquarters would be located in Belgrade and it would "serve as the springboard" for the expansion of company's operations to other Balkan countries.
Arabtec announced that talks with partners about projects in the Balkans were already in a late phase.
This company is currently building a branch of the French museum Louvre in Abu Dhabi. It is the largest local construction company whose ongoing projects are estimated at USD 8.1 billion.
Arabtec's net profit and revenue in November 2013 grew 212 and 39 percent from November 2012, respectively.
