Representatives of France's largest shipping company on visit to Belgrade - CMA CGM expands business in the Balkans

Serbia's Transportation Ministry has received the representatives of CMA CGM from France, one of the top three maritime container shipping companies in the world and the leading company in that field in France, the Ministry announced on its website.

Aside from State Secretary Miodrag Poledica and Assistant Minister Mirjana Trifunovic, this meeting was also attended by Tanja Lukic and Veljko Kovacevic, the associates of the Sector for Water Transport and Navigation Safety. The delegation of the CMA CGM Group consisted of top managers Christiane de Fruite, Simon Spacy, Peter Dolinsek and Milutin Gojkovic.

The CMA CGM Group operates in more than 150 countries world wide through a network of over 650 agencies employing in excess of 18,000 people across the world. This company owns 414 ocean liners. CMA CGM plans to build 31 container ships within the next 28 months, which will open up the possibility of hiring additional 1,200 sailors.
