First "Punto" to come out from "Zastava" factory in June 2007

Kompanija "Zastava" potvrdila je da je obezbeđen novac za "Fiat" opremu koja bi do 10. januara 2007. godine trebalo da stigne u Kragujevac.

Kako je planirano, sklapanje "Punta", odnosno modela "Zastava 10" u "Zastava" pogonima počeće sredinom 2007. godine.

The activities related to procurement of the "Fiat" body equipment and the commencement of the "Zastava 10" assembling are realized according to the established dynamics. That means that "Zastava" provided about 4.5m EUR through privatization of some of its companies and it has recently sold two floors in the building of "Zastava Impex" in Belgrade for about 800,000 EUR.

The delegation of that Kragujevac-based factory has just returned from Italy, where it agreed with the representatives of company "Komau", which is in charge of the transfer of the "Fiat" equipment to Kragujevac, that the required tools be delivered to the Automobile factory prior to January 10, 2007.

The people from the Automobile Factory say that the equipment will be assembled by both our and Italian experts from January to May 2007 and that the assembling of domestic "Punto" will then start on the production-assembling lines of the Kragujevac factory.
