General Electric wants to participate in South Stream construction

Serbian Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zorana Mihajlovic talked Monday with a delegation of the US company General Electric about the possibility of them taking part in the implementation of the South Stream construction project in Serbia.

At that meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of General Electric joining local companies in the implementation of the South Stream project, especially in the construction of gas stations, it was announced on the website of the Energy Ministry.

The GE delegation led by Deputy CEO John Rice also expressed interest in participation in substation revitalization projects in Serbia.
