People, chimpanzees and dolphins see the world in the same way

Researches from the University of Kyoto, Japan, noticed similarities between three species despite their habitats - people, dolphins and chimpanzees.
It has been determined that dolphins see the world in the same manner as people and chimpanzees. As the three species have different habitats, only their eyes have been adapted to the environment, but the image is the same. Dolphins have a slightly weaker vision, but both them and chimpanzees have the same image as people.
Dolphins have been shown 9 different shapes and they have been trained to touch them with their noses once the shape appears above the water. Then, the same shape would be shown along with another one, and the dolphins would choose the right one, meaning they would touch with their noses the shape they have been trained for.
These results have been compared to those gained earlier after the tests with people and chimpanzees and the conclusion is that the dolphins see the world the same way people do.
Scientists tested three dolphins born in the wild - Peace, Tino and Eagle living in a public aquarium of Nagoya port.
