Regional conference on wind energy in Romania on January 21-22

A regional conference on the wind energy market and the development potential of wind farms in southeast Europe will be held in Bucharest on January 21-22 and attended by more than 300 experts on wind energy.

Ana Brnabic, the director of the Continental Wind Serbia company, will present the potential of Serbia's wind energy market at this event.

Brnabic, whose company is a member of the Serbian Wind Energy Association (SEWEA), told Beta news agency that she would hold a presentation on what had been done in Serbia to date in regards to the use of wind energy and whether Serbia can be deemed a serious market.

This event will also be an opportunity to talk about regional wind energy market, regulatory frameworks for doing business in the field, state policies on renewables, as well as about wind farm projects and funding.

Wind energy potential will also be presented by Croatia, Turkey and Ukraine in addition to Romania and Serbia.
