Company "Zimpa" from Ub will make safe-deposit boxes for keeping of documents and values for the needs of new business building of Central Bank in Belgrade.
The Governor of NBS, Radovan Jelašić, who paid a visit to that factory, did not state precisely how many of these safe-deposit boxes would be delivered to NBS and at what price, but he pointed out that they would be made to the special requests of the central bank.
According to his words, NBS has already bought 17 vault doors from company "Zimpa" for the new business building on Slavija, whereas the contract on maintenance and control of that built-in equipment was signed yesterday (December 18, 2006).
General manager of company "Zimpa", Dragan Đurđević, said that that company owned ISO 9100:2000 standard and the certificate of the Association of Insurance Companies of Hungary, which guaranteed the product safety according to the EU standards. He estimated that the proof of quality of the products of that company, which exists for 58 years, was the fact that "Zimpa" would completely equip the new building of NBS.
- "Zimpa's" safe deposit boxes, steel and treasury strongboxes, fire-proof doors and cabinets are bought by all bigger banks that operate in Serbia and that company exports products into former Yugoslav republics and the Near East - said Đurđević.
