Kladovo prepares land for investors - Port of Tekija becomes municipal property

The port complex in Tekija has formally become a property of the Kladovo municipality. Few days ago the Defense Ministry and the Army of Serbia handed over the complex comprising a dock and a land covering 1 hectare and 28 ares, it was announced on the municipal website.
As eKapija was told earlier, this land will be offered to investors in tourism in the future.

– It is extremely important that resources along the Danube bank belong to the local self-government so prospective investors could be offered a broader and more attractive range of useful resources - said Kladovo Mayor Radovan Arezina.

The handover of the property was preceded by the signing of a RSD 6.4 million agreement on the transfer of public ownership rights from the Republic Property Directorate to the Kladovo municipality.
