Megal exports boilers to Albania

In late December, Bujanovac-based Megal shipped the first batch of 30 boilers for heating on solid fuel to Albania under one of the deals concluded upon the presentation of Megal's production capacity at the International Technology Fair in Tirana.

- We have signed agreements with buyers from Albania and the plan is to resume export this year, which is why we also plan to boost production by 20 percent this year, meaning that we should produce and sell about 3,000 boilers and nearly 2,000 fire boxes for various types of boilers - Megal General Manager Dragoljub Kostic told the daily Danas.

This company that currently employs 130 workers has been constantly increasing production over the past two years. In 2013 Megal produced 2,600 boilers, 30 percent more than in 2011.
