Cakes from Kragujevac conquer new markets - Peta gama to start building one more factory in spring 2014

Kragujevac-based Peta gama produces quality cakes exclusively intended for the EU market, and its most famous product is Sachertorte (the Sacher cake). This company has got a land lot from the city for its new factory whose construction is planned to commence this spring, Sumadijapress reports.

In the competition against world's top confectioners, this company from Kragujevac fights with quality. Every year they export 200,000 Sachertorte cakes to Austria and Germany.

- Construction of new factory should commence this spring, and we plan to hire another 70 workers or so and to conquer some new markets – says Midorag Djuricic, the owner of Peta gama.

Peta gama, which exported about 400,000 cakes last year, currently employs 60 workers.
