Serbia is organizer and host of important international nautical conference

In 2009, Serbia will be the host of the World Conference of Canals and Internal Navigable Ways (WCC). This important meeting should be held in the last week of August or in the first week of September 2009. The hosts will be Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Kladovo.

Serbia was assigned the task to organize this meeting unexpectedly, at the conference in Betlehem, thanks to Ivana Dulić and company "CMT", which cooperates with Krsto Pašković, navigator and author of master plan "Danubian Propeller".

The Conference will gather most important world experts and businessmen who deal with the development of the network of canals and internal navigable ways. They will take into consideration the possibility of rehabilitation, broadening and preparation of the existing canals and other navigable ways. One of the most important subjects will be the development of small economy in nautical tourism.
