Italians to reconstruct Montenegrin part of Belgrade-Bar railway ?

The delegation of the Government of Montenegro, invited by Italian Ministry of Economic Development, will stay in Rome on December 18 and 19 and have talks about the project for reconstruction of Bar-Belgrade railway, which it offered to the Government of Italy.

Montenegrin delegation is very interested in accepting the offer of the Italian Government. The first phase is the design of technical and financial study "Plan for rehabilitation and proposal for tender for Bar-Belgrade railway".

The draft study has been designed by company Italferr and it has been especially pointed out that the implementation of the project and the raising of level of services and security of the railway will create conditions for much bigger employment of the capacities of Port of Bar.
