China invests 100 billion EUR in the Balkans - Belgrade, as the Center for all projects

China plans to invest 10.000 billion EUR in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe in the coming period, and it has been agreed that Belgrade will be the center for all projects the Chinese will implement in the field of infrastructure in the region, according to the statement given by Minister of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning, Milan Bacevic, to Tanjug.

Based on already proposed projects, China is ready to invest 100 billion EUR in the Balkans, and in the future they tend to invest even 10.000 billion, as it is expected application of many large development projects, explained Bacevic.

The fact that Belgrade has been chosen as the center for all infrastructural projects planned by the Chinese in 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, is a great news for our citizens and all good natured people, Bacevic pointed out.

He explained further that Belgrade will be the base for discussions on all infrastructural projects to be implemented in the region, as Chinese investments, whether as strategic partnerships, concessions or any other types of cooperation.

He expects that the Government of Serbia will soon conclude on this matter, reminding that this has already been discussed about and the offer has been accepted, as a guest of good will by the Chinese side, on the Summit held in Bucharest, on December, 14, when representatives of 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe met with the Chinese Prime Minister and discussed economic projects.
