American car manufacturer `Ford` has announced a prototype for the new hybrid vehicle that collects solar energy through the roof, decreasing gas supply and eliminating the need to connect to electricity.
`Ford` announced that its vehicle `C-MAX Solar energy` will have solar panels on the roof that will get the energy from special solar collectors, according to France Press.
It is estimated that this vehicle, to be shown next week in Las Vegas, at the International Fair of Consumable Electronic, will decrease annual gas emission with glasshouse effect ordinarily made by the cars.
The new system should increase sale of electric and hybrid vehicles, and `Ford` claims that this system follows the movement of the Sun from the East towards the West, collecting enough energy from the sun beams every day, which allows the accumulator to be charged in 4 hours.
