Contract signed on construction of first phase of gas storage in Banatski Dvor

The Minister of Mining and Energy, Radomir Naumov, and the Executive Manager of NIS Naftagas, Igor Korać, have signed 11.3m EUR worth of contract on the construction of the first phase of the gas pipeline and the gas pipeline facilities for the underground gas storage Banatski Dvor.

On that occasion, Naumov announced that the first phase of the construction of the underground gas storage in Banatski Dvor would be finished by the end of 2007 and pointed out that the realization of the National Investment Plan in field of gas introduction would begin with the signing of the contract.

The first phase of the construction of the underground gas storage implies completion of the technical production line intended for preparation, drying and shipping of stored natural gas into the gas pipeline system, as well as construction of a two-way gas pipeline Gospođinci - Banatski Dvor, 42 km long.
