Alexander Picker to manage Hypo Group as of 1 January 2014

Alexander Picker, the CEO of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank in Bosnia-Herzegovina, is going to assume the position of chairman of the Managing Board of the entire Hypo Group on 1 January 2014.

The Supervisory Board of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International AG (HAA) made this decision at its regular session on Friday (20 December 2013). The decision was made following a public selection process.

- We welcome Dr. Picker as the new chairman of the Managing Board of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank, as a well-informed expert with a long-time experience in banking in the region. We believe that Picker, who will work together with current members of the Managing Board, is the best person to cope with complex challenges that come along with the reorganization and reprivatization of the bank - said Klaus Libser, chairman of the Hypo Group Supervisory Board.
